Born in 1959 in Brazzaville, Congo's capital city, De Sagazan is a painter, sculptor and performance artist located in Saint-Nazaire, France. His whole body of work transpires movement, aggressivity and an innate creepiness.

Transfiguration, his most famous performance, can be seen in Ron Fricke's 2011 film Samsara.
